Adjust-2-fit expander frame
All Strongdor steel security doors come with a fully adjustable frame to bridge the gap between the door frame and the rebate. Even if the brickwork is uneven this ensures a perfect fit every time and with the minimal use of sealant. Furthermore, every Strongdor 1500 Series door set includes a comprehensive fixing kit which includes all the nuts, bolts, screws and cover caps you need, as well as full instructions and a pot of colour-matched paint in case of accidents! Complete installation kit supplied with every Strongdor.
STEP 1: First align the frame into the door opening.
STEP 4: Insert the frame fixers.
STEP 2: Ensure you have a square and tight frame using the adjuster screws.
STEP 5: The fully tightened frame fixers are recessed half way into the frame adjuster screws.
STEP 3: Once the frame is in position, drill through the frame adjuster screws.
