To analyze existing customers and look for opportunities to grow sales revenue through key account management.
This role is to facilitate and direct sales representatives out in the field and create business plans based on feedback from Key Account visits to gain more revenue from existing customers.
A key part to this position is to create a link between the field sales, internal estimating, marketing, customer service, operations and product development.
Responsibilities
As a Key Account Manager, the role will include the below:
Working with the Sales Director to create key account management plans.
Analyze sales data to look for growth opportunities with key customers.
Track and report conversion rates and GP for these accounts.
To take ownership of the key account plan for customers.
To book visits for field sales reps where needed and implement feedback from these visits.
To facilitate visit requests and account goals from the transaction team and manage the field sales rep’s diary.
Capture and log all individual account opportunities and track performance against initiatives.
Secondary Responsibilities
Generate all necessary reports for the EMT as requested by the Sales Director.
Work with the IT department to automate KPI reporting where possible.
Suggest, review and implement KPI changes where appropriate.

Previous experience in managing Key Accounts and delivering growth.
Previous Excel experience at intermediate level including formulas, charts and pivot tables.
A significant understanding of the commercial aspects of managing Key Accounts.

This role is office based at our site in Carnforth.
Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri (7:30 am - 4:30 pm) and Wed (7.00 am - 4.00 pm).
