Finance Manager

Who is Strongdor?

Strongdor are a steel door manufacturer experiencing rapid growth, with turnover of £17.5m in 2023 and we are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team.

 
Your responsibilities

- Preparation and ownership of monthly and annual management accounts and board packs with all supporting accounting schedules, adjustments and reconciliations including stock and taxation.
- Investigating financial statement variances.
- Supporting the finance control function with audit deliverables.
- Supporting the finance control function in the budgeting process.
- Supervise the Accounts Assistants with indirect responsibility over sales, purchase and general ledgers.
- Support finance control function with credit risk management.

- Strong commercial acumen and analytical capabilities
- Technical ability in both finance and IT
- Attention to detail, risk assessment and problem solving
- An understanding of how financial management contributes to corporate structure, strategy and objectives
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Other requirements

- ACA qualification would be desirable however an alternative qualification such as ACCA or CIMA would be essential
- Experience in manufacturing would be advantageous
- Willingness to learn, with energy and flexibility to implement new process is essential given the dynamics of growth
- Driving licence and access to a car advantageous given location

 40hr week over 5 working days Mon-Fri.
