Strongdor’s external fire-rated steel doors are engineered to offer protection with dual certification, and optional upgrades with our security-rated steel doors. Fire-rated up to E120 and EW120. Fully CE and UKCA-marked to BS EN 14351-1 and EN 16034, these doors can provide single-action external exits.

Dual-Purpose Performance

With the correct hardware, our fire-rated external doorsets can be rated up to 36 dB. This upgrade provides both fire resistance and sound control, making it ideal for buildings that require controlled environments.

Built to Your Specification

Where thermal performance is also critical, some applications may benefit from the Thermal and Fire-Rated Steel Door. Every Strongdor external fire door is bespoke-manufactured to order. This includes your choice of door configurations (e.g., panic hardware for escape routes), steel framing, thresholds, and various panel options, such as glazed or louvred. Each configuration may alter the fire rating of the product, so always consult our steel door experts for your exact needs.

Security Enhancements Available

For enhanced protection, fully fire-rated doors can be specified with PAS 24:2022 security certification, while retaining their full fire integrity. Combine that with optional louvre or glazed panels for ventilation or visibility needs. View the tech spec for more details.

Strongdor’s external fire-rated doors come with a powder-coated finish in over 150 RAL/BS colours, ensuring both performance and aesthetic consistency. We also provide a Marine Grade enhanced powder coating for a more durable finish.
