Internal Business Development Executive

Strongdor are recruiting an exciting position of Receptionist and Administration Assistant to join the team, based in Morecambe.  We are looking for an individual who is passionate about their role, delivering excellence in customer experience, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment both in person and on the telephone.

Responsibilities

As an Internal Business Development Executive, the role will include the below:

 Taking inbound phone calls, emails and web forms.
 Starting new customers on their Strongdor journey through the on-boarding process mainly for larger prospects.
Using the resources available to bring customers on board e.g. welcome packs, arranging BDM visits, online meetings, or factory tours.
Gaining information about the customer, finding relevant contacts, looking for new business opportunities, new markets, new products, and reporting this into Pipedrive and starting a customer profile.
Ensuring that the “deal” has been responded to in a timely manor so that the “lead” turns into a ongoing customer which can be handed over to the key accounts team.


Secondary Responsibilities

To look for new business opportunities and assist Marketing in tapping into a new markets via phone calls to gain key information.
To prospect new customer that have not dealt with Strongdor in the past via phone, email, social media etc.
To assist the RSM’s with new appointments of qualified customers to gain new business.

Hours

This role is office-based at our site in Carnforth.
Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri (7:30 am - 4:30 pm) and Wed (7.00 am - 4.00 pm).

Salary

The salary is Dependent upon experience.
