Sales Administrator

Job Description 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Administrator to join our team. The Sales Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team by managing administrative tasks and providing exceptional customer service.

Role and Responsibilities

- Quotation Processing: Process quotes accurately and efficiently, ensuring quick return times to customers.
- Order Processing: Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of products or services to customers.
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team with administrative tasks such as preparing customer reports where required.
- Customer Communication: Communicate with customers via phone and email and provide product information.
- Database Management: Update and maintain customer and sales database, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the sales team.

A great candidate will have the below attributes

- A qualification and/or experience of Sales Administration, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in a sales administration or similar role.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in the Manufacturing sector is a plus.
- Sales administration: 1 year (preferred)
- Administration: 1 year (required)

Hours of Work

The hours of work are 40 per week
Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri 7.30am-4.30pm and Weds 7.00am-4.00pm

Salary

The salary is £25,000 - £27,000 per annum dependent upon experience

Location

Lancashire, LA3 3BJ
Office based in our newly refurbished offices on Northgate, White Lund, Morecambe
