Strongdor are pleased to have supplied steel doors for two modular building projects delivered by UB Infrastructure, helping to provide secure and durable access solutions for modern off-site construction applications.
One of the projects included the Stafford Demonstrator Unit, a simple single-door modular unit. Designed as a demonstration unit, the installation showcases the capabilities of modern modular construction and door integration in a practical environment. Situated within a spacious car park location, the unit provides excellent visibility and easy access for demonstrations, inspections, and photography.
Following this, Strongdor then went on to supply doors for the new MELF Yoker workshop facility at Yoker Depot. The purpose-built 14.4-tonne modular building was manufactured using 163 prefabricated aluminium wall and roof panels in just three weeks. Complete with an attached plant room and integrated water management features, the facility replaces an outdated portable building and provides a long-term solution for the MELF team. The project demonstrates how modern modular construction can be delivered quickly while maintaining high standards of quality, durability, and functionality.
Both projects highlight the importance of reliable, high-performance door solutions within modular construction environments. By supplying strong steel door systems that meet the operational and security requirements of each installation, Strongdor helped support the delivery of buildings designed for long-term use and performance.
Ross Chipperfield, Founder & CTO of UB Infrastructure, said:
"Partnering with Strongdor enables us to provide our customers with doors that deliver the highest standards of quality and security. Their products consistently meet customer requirements and help ensure our buildings are built to last.”
