Strongdor supplied 64 bespoke steel doors to Elizabeth Woodville School.
Working closely with the school, Strongdor delivered durable and practical door solutions designed for each specific location, finished in RAL 5010 Gentian Blue to match the school’s colours. This result is a modern, cohesive look that fits perfectly within the busy campus.
The installation, completed by JP Fire Solutions, brought together a range of steel doors designed to suit each space and purpose. Double louvred doors were fitted to the plant and bin stores, providing essential ventilation while keeping the areas secure. In corridors and communal spaces, single doors with long vision panels were installed to meet Part M accessibility standards and create a lighter, more open feel. Classroom fire exits were fitted with push-bar mechanisms in line with BS EN 1125, ensuring safe and easy escape in an emergency. Each steel door was carefully finished with the right hardware to ensure reliable operation, smooth use, and lasting performance.
All doors are manufactured in accordance with the building regulations, providing a secure, low-maintenance solution ideal for a high-traffic, educational setting. This project highlights Strongdor’s commitment to combining solid engineering with thoughtful design, enhancing both safety and appearance. For Elizabeth Woodville School, the result is a safer, more efficient environment for staff and students.
JP Fire Solutions added: “We had a great experience with Strongdor. After discussing the order with Jamie, he created a detailed pallet and door schedule, with each door arranged in order of its location. It meant we could minimise disruption and save valuable time on-site”.
