How long have you worked at Strongdor?
Hi, I’m Matthew Brown, and I’ve been working at Strongdor for four glorious months.
What is your role at Strongdor?
My role here is Business Development Executive. My job is all about forging connections with clients, partners, and colleagues, and thinking strategically about how to grow the business. I like to picture it a bit like gardening - planting seeds, watering them, tending the soil, and patiently nurturing things until they grow into wins, both big and small.
What do you love most about working at Strongdor?
The thing I love most about working at Strongdor is being part of a company that values honesty, integrity, and excellence. The culture here is positive and professional, but also leaves room to have fun, try out wacky ideas, and learn from the inevitable missteps along the way.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
If I could learn to do anything, weirdly enough, I would learn to juggle! I can already do three balls in a cascade pretty well, but if I could skip ahead, I’d love to master juggling four sharp axes.
How would you describe yourself in three words?
If I had to describe myself in three words, I'd say firstly, calm - I'm pretty laid back, much more of a slow burn than a flash in the pan, so not many things faze me. Secondly, I'd say, curious - I love asking questions and learning new things, I'm constantly reminded there are so many things I'm yet to understand! Lastly, I'd say, positive. I try to focus on finding solutions. I think it's important to practice gratitude and kindness, and it's hugely satisfying to see something I do make someone's day a bit brighter.
