Strongdor is proud to spotlight the people who help shape our customer-first reputation. In this feature, we meet Warwick Cane, a CAD Technician who focuses on product development, liaising with various departments to ensure products are ready to launch.
How long have you worked at Strongdor?
Hi, I’m Warwick, CAD Technician here at Strongdor, and I have worked at Strongdor for five and a half years.
What is your role at Strongdor?
My role at Strongdor is to focus on product Development. Officially, as a CAD Engineer, but my job role also includes a lot of liaising with other teams to get products ready for launch.
What do you love most about working at Strongdor?
The thing I love most about working for Strongdor is the trips to America! I have been very fortunate in that my job role has meant that I have been helping out with the start-up of Strongdor in Chicago, so I have loved the experience of being over there!
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
If I could learn to do anything, I would love to be a pilot. If Strongdor ever decides to get a business jet, I'll be happy to fly it! I have, in fact, done a flying experience where I got to pilot a 4-seater Cessna 172 for a short flight.
How would you describe yourself in three words?
If I had to describe myself in three words, I’d say: Adventurous, outdoorsy and logically-minded.
Adventurous as I like to try new things, go to new places and explore.
Outdoor-sy (is there a proper word to describe that? ) as I enjoy mountain biking and hiking - currently trying to tick off all of the Wainwrights. I'm 60% of the way there.
Finally, I would say logically minded - maths generally makes perfectly good sense to me, but writing…I leave that to the marketing team.
