On Friday 23rd June, members of the Strongdor team attended the Freshies Awards at the Rivington Hall Barn in Bolton. Shortlisted down to 10 finalists, we are thrilled to announce we won Best Business Award at the Freshies 2023!
Showcasing the positive, fun and hard-working environment Strongdor strives to uphold, we are thrilled to have this recognised by others. With our 44,500 sq ft manufacturing facility creating the fastest lead times on the market and celebratory staff events, Strongdor ensures we strive for excellence in our field and staff satisfaction always.
Commercial Director, Matt Devenish said: “A big part of our journey is the people, we have gone from 55 to over 100. And the people are what makes the difference, as there are other companies with great machinery but you need the best people to get true growth.”
Alongside the company celebration, Strongdor provides multiple health and wellbeing programmes to ensure support is always available, in and out of work hours. Pushing to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health, HR director Amy Burrow gives employees regular time to discuss issues, alongside providing dedicated days to specific programmes.
