What Does RIBA Approval Mean?

The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) is a prestigious professional body for architects in the UK. While RIBA membership is not mandatory to practice architecture, it signifies a commitment to maintaining high standards and using the "chartered" title.

To gain RIBA approval, a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) must meet strict educational criteria. RIBA members are required to complete 35 hours of CPD annually and although they can choose any CPD, opting for RIBA-approved programs ensures that the training is aligned with RIBA's core curriculum and provides substantial value to their professional development.
