As the year came to a close, the atmosphere at Strongdor was nothing short of excellent. To finish off a fantastic year, Strongdor hosted a winter-themed fair at its new Innovation Centre in Carnforth. Covered with snowy décor and boasting over 30 exciting prizes, the event turned out to be a memorable day for the entire team.
The winter fair kicked off with a treat courtesy of the renowned 'Spitting Pig' company. The staff indulged in a feast, featuring a choice between full roast turkey or pork dinner, complete with all the trimmings. To sweeten the celebration, homemade bakes with Bailey’s cream were served, leaving everyone very satisfied.
In addition to the spread, the team engaged in a series of fun and fast-paced games. Each department within Strongdor hosted a unique stall where employees could compete for fantastic prizes, as well as finding out more about what’s in store for 2024. The high energy continued with large-scale indoor games from 'The Fun Experts,' including super-size Scalextric, a life-sized operation game, and a snowboard simulator.
The winter fair provided a platform for employees from different departments to come together, to discuss the upcoming year ahead. Laughter echoed through the Innovation Centre as colleagues enjoyed the festivities, showcasing Strongdor’s commitment to fostering a positive and engaging work environment.
